TUTAG THREATENS TO GO ON A STRIKE

Chairman of the Kumasi chapter of Technical University Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG), Lecturers at the Kumasi Technical University have threatened to go on a strike because the government isn’t fulfulling their promises.

In 2018, before the the name was to be changed from Polytechnic to Technical University, the Education Minister of Ghana and a member of the Parliament of Ghana, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh promised them of things, thus, incentives and everything that lecturers at the University level gets, they will always provide them with such, till date, they haven’t heard anything from their side and with this press conference they are holding, they look forward for the government to come and address it or the strike will go on.
