The President of Ghana His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo has shown his appreciation towards the Year of Return Ghana 2019.

Last year 2019 was announced a year of return. Which means those who have traveled for a long time and haven’t come home to visit Ghana. It was a year that made people from Africa countries and the world to visit Ghana and know about their ancestors and culture.

Through this year of return so many people visited Ghana including Tashe, Akon, Rick Cross, Naomi Campbell, Ludacris , Beyoncé’s mother, Cardi B, Davido, Tiwa Savage and others.

This year of return made most of them visit the cape coast castle to know how the salves trade happened and know more about the history of salves trade.

There are so many places to visit when you come to Ghana being a tourist site, relaxation and fun.

It was through the year of return that Cardi B came to Ghana and the whole issue about the meet and greet pop up . There was so many controversies about the meet and greet, who is a celebrity and chinchinga which the people of Ghana now calls it Cardi B.  I don’t want to dealt with the meet and greet.

During the year of return a lot of activities went on especially with the December own Afrochella. Afrochella is a celebration of African culture.

The President of Ghana has shown his concern about the year of return and thank everyone the people of Ghana and those who visited for their welcome attitude and the warm Ghanaians hospitality too.

Ghana has been a peaceful country and everyone that visited feel safe and calm.

This year of return Ghana 2019 was magnificent.

So what will 2020 be called and will the fun still continues. Let’s see what the ministry of tourism will call it.
