President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellence Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo on his updates for the nation as a tool of fighting Corona Virus has relived Ghanaians from certain burdens this evening.
In his delivery, he acknowledged the restless and devoted health personnels taking charge of patients and those under quarantine. Also acknowledged security officials for their supervision on Ghanaians in this period of Lockdown in certain areas of the country. Furthermore, he praise Ghanaians for their cooperation in handling matters in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
The president did not only give updates on the health status of the country but also gave a ransom package to citizens in order to make life easy in this period.He started by encouraging Ghanaians on the frequent supply of electricity henceforth,the payments of water bills by government for citizens for the next three months,providing buses for health officials to take them to and fro in order to serve the nation dilegent and many others.
Adding to his package, he recommended the ministers of the state who have also taken a cue to donated their three months salary to help fight Covid -19 in Ghana.Also entreated all Ghanaians to continue to take directives being given to them and desist from their recalcitrant acts for us all to fight this deadly virus together.
