The GPRTU chairman who is known As Albert Boamah at sofoline in the kumasi metropolis at the kwadaso municipality has slums police officers for enchanting money from drivers
According to him, The IGP should involve police officers who are above chief inspectors rank to enforce motto checks on the Highway.
He said that police personnel who’s ranks are lower than chief inspects are those who have been taking money from drivers and they have refused to arrest drivers who break the rules the with the L.I.
Their aim is to go out and take money from drivers.
He vocalized that, 90% of police officers dream to take money from driver and Ghana highway Authority have given them the chance to operate that illegal act.
I am urging the IGP to involve police officers above chief inspectors on highway patrol checks If only they want their credibility to restore. He lamented
