You Said Ghana Is Sitting On Money When In Opposition, Where Is The money? – NDC Quizzes Akufo-Addo

“When he was in opposition, Abroma Akufo-Addo said to Ghanaians that we have money but we are suffering. So why is he now attempting to slap an e-tax on us?” According to Kwaku Boateng of the opposition NDC,

In response to the planned tax, the NDC Communicator stated that the Akufo-Addo-led administration has failed miserably, resulting in the decision to keep the e-levy, which many Ghanaians have fiercely rejected.

Mr. Kwaku Boateng, also known as ‘OMAN,’ asked Kwabena Nyarko Abronoma on Bryt FM regarding the whereabouts of the money and natural resources mentioned by then-NPP presidential candidate Akufo-Addo when in opposition in 2016.

“I’m wondering where the money and resources that the NPP said Ghana possessed during Mahama’s administration have gone, or whether Ghana no longer possesses those natural resources?” He asks a series of probing questions.

During the reign of former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC, the Aspiring New Juaben North Communication Officer added, the NPP fooled Ghanaians with unfounded charges, but despite having “the personnel,” failed to deliver.

Mr. Boateng stated that the proceeds from oil extraction outweigh the ‘minimal’ money spent on the policy.

He accused the NPP of being infamous for election violence and called its internal primaries undemocratic.

Mr. Kwaku Boateng, on the other hand, has urged party members to vote for him as the party’s Communications Officer in the next internal elections set for the end of the year.

He promised to keep both the Member of Parliament and the Mayor on their toes in order to fulfill their responsibilities.
