According to a member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) publicity team, John Dramani Mahama’s humorous character disqualifies him from being Ghana’s president.
The former President made bogus assertions that the Electoral Commission of Ghana prepared 1 million extra ballot sheets to benefit the NPP for the 2020 elections, according to the NPP official.
When John Mahama’s legal team had the chance to substantiate what he was asserting in court, the NPP spokesman said on Wontumi TV that “they failed to present a single pink sheet” at the Supreme Court.
Mr. Mahama’s pronouncements, the NPP man said, were getting out of hand, and the nation should consider stripping him of every politeness granted all ex-presidents since he didn’t deserve it.
“He is a state senator, but he doesn’t act like one.” We should have cancelled his emolument so that he understands that we no longer see him as a former President,” he added.
He concluded his statement by urging the NDC to begin grooming someone to succeed John Mahama since he could never win an election against the NPP.
