Charismatic denomination or what is known in Ghana as ‘One Man Churches’ have been receiving a lot of stick for the totally unconventional directions and immoral display of lavish and expensive materials while others dupe desperate members who seek their spiritual help to live’s harsh realities.
To curb this menace, the parliament of Ghana is considering a bill to regulate religious activities in the country as the totally unregulated arena has proven a safe haven for fraudsters to make overnight wealth with no questions asked in the name of doing God’s work, after all, “Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”, sayeth the Bible.
