A slay queen has argued that just like award shows are organized for practitioners of the creative arts industry notably actors and musicians- ashawo women also deserve theirs.
Ashawo is local slang for prostitutes and as far as this lady is concerned, she says they put in hard work to entertain clients even at the peril of their lives hence they deserve recognition.
The unnamed lady whose face looks heavily padded with makeup in the video attached to this report, reveals that most of them encounter ghosts while others die in the cause of their duties.
She said that they play major roles in men’s life, adding that even when celebrities go through depression or heartbreak, they seek solace in the arms of sex workers.
