President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that since taking office, his New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has cleared teachers’ salary arrears.
According to the President, his government has been committed to teachers’ welfare since taking office five years ago, and has tackled various difficulties impacting teachers as well as introducing new interventions for teachers across the country.
He stated again that his capable government had worked on teacher promotions, among other matters.
