The residents of Tamale on Thursday, May 21, 2021, was, left in a state of dilemma after a young man in his early 30’s sadly called off what could have been possibly being reinscribed as one of the best wedding ceremonies in the capital.
The bride, Alhassan Habaida in a WhatsApp conversation with her ex-boyfriend allegedly pleaded with him to accept a sex offer before she finally walks down the aisle on June 20, 2021, with Anass, a man who has already paid for her bride price.
Sources close to the groom said, the ex-boy friendly accepted the offer and decided to meet with her in a popular guesthouse in Tamale. One thing led to another, and the two had “good sex”. An encounter which the bride has described through a WhatsApp chat as one of the best and memory that will live with her for the rest of her life.
In a Facebook sighted, the groom who obviously could not stand the agony called off the Islamic wedding on religious grounds. According to him, “sorry to inform everyone that our wedding has been canceled”.
Anass has been silent on reasons why he has to take a swift decision in calling off his wedding with Habaida.
Meanwhile, the wedding footage of the two has since gone viral on social media as some were seen calling on the groom to forgive the bride, quoting a popular phrase “to err is human; to forgive is divine”.
