A student of St. Paul Technical School (SPATS) in Akyem Kukurantumi in Abuakwa North Municipality in the Eastern Region has been crushed to death by a School bus of Kibi Senior High Technical School.
The deceased student identified as Sadick Abubakar, 18, was riding a motorbike heading to Akyem Tafo towards Akyem Maase when a taxi driver suddenly opened the door of the car which the motorbike crashed.
The impact threw the motorbike and students onto the road in front of the School Bus which was coming from the opposite direction.
The bus runs over the motorbike and student resulting in the fatality.
The student was confirmed dead by Medical Doctors at Hawa Memorial Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
The Taxi driver and Bus driver are both assisting Police in the investigation.
The body of the deceased was deposited at the morgue pending completion of a preliminary investigation into the incident by the Police.
