An astute and celebrity lawyer, Maurice Ampaw has warned the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. John Mahama, to stop reveling in the attention he is receiving since it is all fake.
He reminded the former President that some politicians who came before him suffered the same faith and stayed in opposition favour.
He listed Komla Agbeli Gbedemah, Dr.Papa Kwesi Nduom and Mr. Kwabena Darko as people who reveled in fake praising singing and thought it would translate into votes for them.
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw explained that some of the people who come out to see former President Mahama at rally grounds were there to “see how miserable” he has become.
“Fake reception is very dangerous. If you recall Gebemah received this same fans and Darko also suffered same. People gave him fake ‘fans’ and took away his fowls from his poultry farms….if people come to watch your convoy, don’t be deceived that they like you”, he warned.
