Stop burning the excavators and start using my ideas – Okudzeto Ablakwa to Government 

The government is working nonstop to end illegal mining in Ghana. According to some reports, the fight against galamsey is really going well and some of our water bodies have started clearing up.

However, the Member of parliament for North Tongu, Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has boldly declared that, the fight against illegal mining has not yield much results as expected.

Mr. Ablakwa did not end there he went straight ahead to outline some important procedures the government can use to combat illegal mining that can yield better results than what we see now.

According to Mr. Ablakwa, the government should use the excavators seized at the mining site to trace the real perpetrators instead of burning them. He argued that, the owners of the excavators may be the real problems that needs to be dealt with.

Okudzeto Ablakwa has urged the government to stop burning up the excavators and and start using his ideas for better results.

This new statement made by the honorable member of parliament on illegal mining has caused massive stir and debate among Ghanaians on various social media platforms.
