The students speaking to the media indicated that for some reasons unknown to the the school autorities have been serving them ‘ Gob3′ (a mixture of gari and beans with oil) on daily basis for weeks running.

Although they ate because they had no option, they are now fed up and demand that government and the school Authority come up with a solution as soon as possible to resolve the continuous consumption of ” gob3″ in the school.

That notwithstanding, the Students testified that ” gob3″ which has become one of the most consumed delicacies among students especially universities such as Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology among others is the best.

However, too much of it is becoming unbecoming. One student when interviewed said the school’ s menu which comprises of varieties of food is not followed but ” gob3″ is what they are given everyday.

As a matter of urgency, the administration and government has been given a one week ultimatum to provide students alternative balanced diet in the school instead of the regular ” gob3nization” . Although education to them is free, they simply cannot be eating gari and beans 7 days in a week as it’ s been done in their school.
