Residents of Bibiani who uses a footbridge linking the Municipal Assembly to Bibiani Township believe the shoddy nature of the job has resulted in its breakdown.
According to them, anything it rains heavy, they find it difficult going out.
“This is the footbridge which several people use when going to town, it has been broken due to shoddy nature of the job, our problem is how to go to town during heavy rainfall, it has become very dangerous for our lives,” they noted.
To them, the spoilt footbridge has been there for the past six months meanwhile, the authorities have refused to reconstruct it.
“It seems they don’t care, this is our major concern, but the authorities have turned death ears to our plea,”.
