Photos: La Liga players travelled to their clubs’ facilities to undergo coronavirus tests today as they prepare to return to training

Installations for tests on Wednesday as LaLiga teams prepare for a return to training this week.

With lockdown measures now relaxed in Spain, clubs have been given permission to resume activity – on an individual basis – ahead of a planned restart to the competition in June.

“The football first team will be back at the Ciutat Esportiva on Wednesday for the relevant medical tests ahead of starting training individually in the coming days,” Barca said on their website on Tuesday.

“La Liga has give the go ahead for the tests to be carried out after the club facilities are inspected on Tuesday.

“On Wednesday the medicals will be carried out to guarantee the players’ health.”

In the capital, Madrid and Atletico players are also expected back for tests on Wednesday, with training likely to resume either this weekend or on Monday, providing everyone is healthy.

Real have been given permission to play their remaining home games at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano (home of their youth team, Castilla) as renovation works continue at the Santiago Bernabeu.
