People do not take my music seriously because they have the perception that I am not sensible enough– Funny Face

Funny Face believes although he has worked hard to bring out his first studio album, many still treat him and his music with little or no importance because they perceive him not to be sane enough to produce any proper songs.

According to the ‘Chorkor Trotro’ comedian, songs like Tramadol on his album is a very sensible song because it speaks against the use and abuse of the drug but people still downgrade it.

Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central, the ‘Cow and Chicken’ hitmaker said he is motivated beyond all doubts to take his music career to the next level.

“I worked hard to put up this album and I am serious about this music thing because I have the gift. I know many people do not take my music seriously but that shouldn’t be so.

“Tramadol is a very sensible song on my album but because I did the song so people think it’s a foolish song but I really do sing sensible songs sometimes.” he said.

Funny Face said he took inspiration from missing and yet-to-be-found veteran Hiplife artiste, Castro to produce the songs he has done in the past.

“Because you know I’m not that sensible to be doing sensible songs so I do animal related songs like cow and chicken, Aponkyi, Akonfem so it was Castro who actually taught me how to do sensible songs”.

Funny Face, who is known widely as a decorated comedian, actor and nowadays a social media ‘joker,’ has come out with an album titled ‘Animal Kingdom’ which he believes will serve as a pedestal to catapult him into unleashing his musical talents that will sweep many Ghanaians off their feet.
