Odion Ighalo Left Out Of Man United Travelling Squad To Spain Due To…..?

Manchester United Football club new signing, and Nigerian International Odion Ighalo, has been left out from Man United travelling squad to Spain for a warm weather camp.

Ighalo who was signed from Chinese League side Shanghai Shenhua to the EPL giants on a six month loan deal could be denied entry back into the UK because of the coronavirus outbreak in China.

The Nigerian player has spent years with Shenshua before moving to England last week, the exact week the virus became critical in China

An official statement from the club reads:

“The club can also confirm that, due to the current situation in China, it has been decided that new signing Odion Ighalo will not travel to Spain as it is not guaranteed that he’d clear UK immigration on return should border restrictions tighten on travellers who’ve been in China within the past 14 days.”

There are currently three cases of coronavirus recorded in the United Kingdom where health professionals are working around the clock to combat it.

Ighalo will remain in Manchester, where he will undergo personal training and fitness programme whilst his teammates fly out to Spain for a warm weather camp.
