NPP Blames Mahama’s Bad Decisions For Ghana’s Unemployment Crisis

The country’s job issues, according to New Patriotic Party General Secretary John Bodu, are the result of the previous Mahama government’s bad policies.

According to him, the former government led by Mahama agreed to specific IMF terms and conditions that were detrimental to the country’s young development.

Mr Bodu promised delegates at the Volta Regional NPP Annual Delegates Meeting that the Akufo-Addo administration will address the labor problem through industrialization.

“Yes, there are difficulties in the workplace, and it is due to the things we inherit.” If you have a government that can’t be honest about its projects and programs, you have no choice except to throw the country over to the IMF, which has been interrupting our youth’s development for nearly five years. Even the Nabco we provided wasn’t enough, he said, implying that nearly a lakh people attended.

The National Democratic Congress, on the other hand, does not agree. He believes that in the five years that the NDC has been in power, the NPP administration can accomplish a lot.

On Friday, National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Communications Officer Sammy Gamphi responded to Mr Boadu’s views on Joy FM’s Midday News, saying, “”The NPP-Bavumiya-Akufo-Edo government is absolutely stupid and helpless when it comes to job development,” Mr Boadu said in a statement.

“There is no business where they are,” John Bodo told the NPP government.

“This is a collection of people who promised when they were in the Opposition in 2016 that if elected, they would bring permanent jobs to the country’s youth and people.

“People heard and gave the order five years ago. Now there are more resources available to any government in the history of this country. They have more tax revenue than any government in the history of this country.” That is, they owe more than any government in the history of this country, even having three oil fields available to them. So even five years after coming to power, they are the last NDC to have the highest unemployment rate in this country. The Supreme Lord is blaming the administration because they are ignorant, helpless, incompetent and completely useless and have no job to rule this country, ”he stressed.
