Ghanaian gospel legend Yaw Sapong has said he has nicknamed his son ‘Shatta Wale’ for his son’s love for the ‘dancehall king’.
Speaking in an interview with Ebenezer Donkor (NYDJ) on YFM an Accra based radio station, the gospel singer said his son is a strong fan of Shatta Wale and exhibits tendencies that reflect him.
Yaw Sarpong spoke about his feature with Sarkodie and how it was fulfilling.
“ So eventually called me a few days after, I requested for a feature from him & he was willing to make it happen. He had also already planned to fulfill his dream of collaborating & with me so he invited me to his wedding, “ he said.
Yaw Sarpong also said he will be releasing an album that will feature Kofi Kinaata, Stonebowy, and Samini because he sees them as creators of rich content.
Sarkodie featured Yaw Sapong and the Asomafuo Band on the Ahobrase3 song which has been doing well.
