Young Ghanaian rapper, Awal has asked Ghanaians never to compare Strongman and Medikal to him because the time he (Awal) was playing big shows, they (Medikal and Strongman) were missing in action.
Simply put, Awal emphatically stated that he started playing these big shows across the country way before these ‘boys’ realized they can do music.
He made these comments during a recent interview when answering a question about if it was a good thing to try and pick ‘fights’ with established musicians.
He bragged that Strongman, Kwesi Arthur, Medikal and some new school rappers are his ‘small boys’.
