Most pastors who criticize Mmebusem want attention – Nacee

Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Nacee, has lambasted Ghanaian pastors for criticizing ‘Mmebusem’, ‘Ghana Jesus’ by calling them attention seekers.

Speaking on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’, hosted by Doctar Cann aired on Saturdays, Nacee said: “If someone is doing something wrong get closer and correct the person instead of publicly lambasting the person”.

According to him, pastors who mean well will try and understand issues before advising others.

Mmebusem, who is known as ‘Ghana Jesus’, has come under heavy criticisms for his humorous portrayal of Jesus Christ in the Bible.

However, the Kumawood actor who plays the Jesus role reacted by stating that people should refrain from criticizing him as no one criticized the British actor, Robert Powell, who was portrayed as Jesus Christ in foreign movies.
