Ministers In Capital Cities Should Be Given Saloon Cars For Their Local Travels – Nhyiaeso MP

The member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso Constituency has issued a recommendation to the government on the automobiles used by several ministers in the country.

Speaking about measures to ensure that state resources are used effectively, the MP suggested that ministers stationed in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, and other capital cities be given saloon automobiles as personal vehicles.

He went on to say that these ministers can use the Land Cruisers when they travel outside of their territories to other regions.

He believes that this is the most efficient way for some ministers in the country to use petroleum.

“I even propose that, in four to five years, ministers in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, and other capital cities be given saloon cars with engines of 1.2 liters, and then we should have land cruisers equipped with provisions for when they travel outside of Accra to other regions. We can save a lot of money “he stated
