As Ewe ladies are always touted as one of the best tribes for Men get married from, their Men have been placed on the choping board by a lady named Elorm Dorcas.
Elorm Dorcas who herself is an Ewe Lady has said that getting married to some ewe men is like imprisoning yourself.
According to her, some Ewe Men always expert their wives to keep mute when they are doing the wrong things or misbehaving and the moment you start to complain, they will conclude that you are not a marriage material.
The lady further said she will get married from other regions because the only man that has caused her pain is an Ewe man and she will never try any Ewe man again.
In a Facebook Comment, Elorm Dorcas said;
“Marrying some ewe men is like imprisoning yourself, they expect you to keep quiet when they are misbehaving.
They want you to go dump on their behaviors ,the moment you complain then bum, you are not a marriage material.
We would marry into other tribes and show them our love and care,why do you think other tribes are rushing for ewe girls.
The only man who has caused me the worst pain is an ewe,so will never try that again.”
Some persons from the Ewe land have been reacting to Elorm’s comment.
Sly Dela Amede said “You can be 100% Ewes from Aflao and Hohoe, and live as husband and wife but in so far as you hold prominent position eg- like
president and passes away.

Zachariah Tormetsi in his reaction also said “I think the Ewe ladies here have
already made up their minds about
Ewe men. There are bad nuts in every tribe so if you’ve already put it at the back of your mind that Ewe men are bad it will affect the way you treat them and the cycle continues.“
Evans Mawunyegah Sewor also added that “Every day Ewe men are stingy. Who
asked you to try them all. Any way
go and work. Poverty is the reason
why you are seeing stingy Ewe men
but Money can cure you dear.“
