Manchester City And Sony Company Are In partnership To Build The World’s First Football Stadium In The Metaverse.
Manchester City, the defending Premier League champions and one of the greatest names in English club football, is creating the world’s first football stadium within the metaverse with the assistance of Sony’s virtual reality (VR) specialists.
The football club has established a three-year agreement with Sony.
While the project is still in its early stages, teams of the company’s specialists have already visited Manchester City’s home stadium, the Etihad Stadium, to map it digitally and build a VR version.
