LPG Kofi Akpaloo Finally Reveals What Happens Between Him And Hassan Ayariga At IPAC & EC Meeting Yesterday

The Leader and Founder of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Mr Kofi Akpaloo has denied engaging in any scuffle with the General Secretary of All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga during the crunch meeting held between the Eminent Advisory Council of the Electoral Commission with the leadership of the commission and the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) over the compilation of a new register for the 2020 general election.

Kofi Akpaloo alleged on Pae Mu Ka” on Accra based Kingdom FM 107.7 that the largest opposition party NDC and some political parties under the umbrella, The Inter-Party Resistance Against the New Voter Register planned to devastate his credibility and that he was accused falsely to have engaged in physical exchanges with the General Secretary of APC.

“NDC wants to destroy my credibility that why is they want to accuse me falsely. It is the NDC that is making these false allegations but I have overcome them all” he told Kwaku Dawuro.

Addressing the General Secretary of APC as ‘Ayari Cough’, he made a disclosure on what transpired at the meeting.

“While the EC was giving a final remark on its presentation over the compilation of the new voter’s register, the man who always coughs was misconducting himself in front of everyone. So I decided to record a video of how Ayariga was reacting with my phone so I could show to him in the future about his actions. On seeing this, he ordered me to delete the recorded video but I told him that he has no right to tell me that since it’s my phone and everyone decides on what to do with his phone”

He, therefore, noted that it is evidential that the Electoral Commission will compile a new voter’s register since the decision made by the EC has welcomed and accepted by the majority of the political parties that were present during the meeting held by the Electoral Commission.

The meeting saw the Presidential candidate hopeful, Mr Kofi Akpaloo, LPG traded blows with the General Secretary of the All Peoples Party Congress (APC).

It took the intervention of clergymen around to separate the two participants in the brawls, reports indicated.
