Life Is Still Not Easy In The Economy But Better Than Under Mahama – Akufo-Addo

Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is optimistic about the country’s economic recovery following the COVID-19 outbreak.

“I accept that life is still not as easy as it should be,” President Akufo-Addo remarked in a speech to the Ash-Town Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church in Kumasi on the occasion of the church’s 100th anniversary.

Nonetheless, he suggested that there are good reasons to be optimistic about the future.

His administration’s major concern, according to him, is to positively alter the lives of the people.

“I came to government with the intention of raising Ghanaians’ living standards.

“The policies and programs that my government is implementing have taken root. They are flourishing and yielding fruit,” the President observed.

According to him, the government’s objective has remained consistent: to create a “Ghana beyond help.”

“Yes, we can. President Nana Akufo-Addo declared, “We should be able to establish a Ghana that looks to the utilization of our own resources and their good management as a method to engineer socio-economic prosperity in our country.”
