KMA Mayor Assures Traders Over Allocation Of Stores

Kumasi Mayor, Osei Assibey Antwi has assured traders at the Kumasi central market that each of them will be allocated store before they will be moved for the commencement of the second phase of the Central Market Redevelopment Project.

He said about 2,042 traders at the central market who will be affected in the second phase of the project have been allocated stores at the new Kumasi Kejetia Market and their keys will soon be handed over to them.

Mr Assibey said it was false, the allegation leveled against the KMA by some of the affected central market traders that they had been left out in the allocation of stores as KMA plans to evacuate them from the market for the redevelopment of the market.

He was speaking at the 31st night service to usher in the year 2020 when he visited some churches in Kumasi and worshipped with them. Mr Assibey thanked God for sustaining the life of the president and himself.

He called on the churches to pray for him and the president so that the numerous projects commenced by the president can be completed successfully.
