Another big man has succumbed to the Covid-19 pandemic in what becomes a series of high level deaths rocking the country since the new viral strain was reported in Ghana.
The report confirmed the death of Mr. Kwesi Twum from close family and friends who request for privacy in this difficult time.
His death from Covid-19 comes days after National Security Coordinator Joshua Kyeremeh passed on from Covid with kidney complications as a trigger. Ghana International School, Ashesi University and Fidelity Bank have both lost members of staff to the pandemic
Until his death, Kwasi Twum Addo was Head of Health, Safety, Security And Environment at the Ministry of Energy in Accra.
The Ghana Health Service has warned that the new viral outbreak is 80 times more deadly than the first one that occurred in 2020 and urged the public to abide by Covid-19 protocols.
