I’M Leaving Hearts Of Oak Due To Lack Of Playing Time’ -Bernard Arthur

Continental Club Masters, Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Bernard Arthur has disclosed that he is leaving the club due to lack of playing time.

The goal poacher who joined Hearts when Coach Kim Grant was in charge of the club has been struggling for much game time since the coach left the club.

Arthur who is close to joining relegation threatened side, Accra Great Olympics said he is leaving Hearts for more ‘playing time’ elsewhere.

“I feel I need to leave Hearts of Oak and have enough playing time elsewhere because I can’t be playing 10-15 minutes, I think it is disrespect. It isn’t Hearts of Oak that want to transfer me, I handed in the request,” he told Kumasi FM.

The young chap who last featured and scored in the side’s dramatic 3-2 win over city rivals, Liberty Professionals further attributed the lack of playing time in the team to the exit of Kim Grant who brought him on board.

“I’m a player who likes challenges, I came to Hearts of Oak because of Kim Grant. Everything started going down for me after he left the club,” he lamented.

“It’s 80% done that I’m going to Olympics. I will help them escape relegation, it is something I have done before and I’m confident in achieving that goal,” he bragged.
