I’ll end Cameroon’s dominance over Ghana – Kwesi Appiah promises Ghanaians

Coach Appiah says his team will break the dominance of Cameroon over Ghana

Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has promised to end the dominance of Cameroon over Ghana in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments.

According to Appiah, it was about time the Black Stars ended the dominance of the Indomitable Lions over the country in the AFCON.

“We are going to give Cameroon a really good game and I am sure we will emerge victorious,” Kwesi Appiah said.

The Black Stars will meet the Indomitable Lions in an AFCON 2019 Group F encounter on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

The match will be the fifth AFCON game between the two sides since 1982. Out of their meetings, Ghana has drawn twice (in group games) and lost twice (in semi-final games in 2008 and 2017).

The photo of Atsu comes after he was massively trolled on social media over his hairstyle for Ghana’s opening match which ended 2-2 against the Squirrels of Benin.

It looks like Atsu has heard the trolls that came his way during the team’s 2-2 draw and has decided to act on it.
