If Akufo Addo Can’t Fix The Country, Lets Put All The Blame On Mahama – A Popular Chief

For some couple of weeks now one major issue that is flying across all the media platforms both social and electronic media is the ‘Fix the Country’ hash tag. Despite the attempt of the security services particularly the police service to prevent an open demonstration, the conveyers has resorted to social media outlets disseminating their messages to the general public and the government as well.

This was likely expected to be one of those hot topics that would boil at the initial stages but will cool down in just a matter of days. But with the conveyers leading this campaign including the just suspended Captain Smart, and some influential celebrities, this online protest will last for weeks even months. And the receiving end of this nationwide protest is the Akufo Addo led government who is under a very strong pressure to fix the country.

But interestingly, among people who think Akufo Addo alone can not fix the country including Afia Schwarzenegger is one popular chief by the name Nana Oteatuoso Kokoben II, a sub chief in the Eastern regional traditional area.

Speaking this morning live on Wontumi TV’s morning show program, the sub chief who also doubles as government watcher admitted that fixing the country is somehow difficult for Akufo Addo, but he puts all the blame not on the president but in mahama since he is the reason why the country is going through what it us going through.

He added, Mahama destroyed almost every system of the country including the economy, so it took Akufo Addo to first mend and clean the mess of mahama before he could start making things work.

“Ghanaians are being unfair. How can we attack innocent Akufo Addo constantly while the culprit mahama is relaxing and enjoying after plunging the entire nation into this catastrophe”, he concluded.
