The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal best chief farmer, Mr. Elvis has threatened legal suit against sefwi wiawso branch of DVLA and the some millitary men who seised and detained him two days ago over alleged forged and fake vehicle.
In an interview with the victim, he narrated that,on 17th wed,July 2019, whilst he was going to farm , he noticed some unknown vehicle tracing him, the driver later prompted him to stop , after which some group of police , military and DVLA approached him demanding his vehicle documents,in fact he felt embarrassed since there was no such checks on the road at that time.
” I was very ferous about their approach, it took me the whole day ,I tried to explained things to them because I knew it myself that my vehicle wasn’t forged , they kept on insulting and using all sort of abusive words on me, I really know it was a deliberate attempt to maltreat me , also I have noticed that,these people are there for their stomach but I won’t let them maltreat me”, he noted.
In addition to the story, he revealed that, how can millitary or DVLA unlawfully detained someone and even insult him without any justification, “I will let the law take it course”.
