I Wanted To Overthrow The Kufuor-led-Administration Out Of ‘Youthful Exuberance’ – Sam George

Prolific politician who stands as Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram,Sam George in an interview has revealed that out of sheer youthful exuberance,he wanted to overthrow the then Kufour’s NPP govt mainly because he detest NPP.

According to him, he found himself in Katanga Hall during his KNUST days, where even though was much engaged in Christian service and all church activities, he happened to engage in boiled up arguments back on his flat in Katanga.

He stated how  the arguments could get so intense that he made up his mind to pick up military forms right after school in 2005 with the sole intent to overthrow the then president John Agyekum Kufuor because he disliked NPP but noted further that it was all out of youthful exuberance at the time.

The Member of Parliament also stated that after he found himself in active politics years later, he happened to inform the former President John Agyekum Kufuor in person at the time only for him to burst out laughing at him for haboring such a plan when he was only twenty years old.

In the said interview, Sam George also explained how he found himself in active politics, explaining how that an individual who had been chosen to speak on a political show on TV had failed to show and he was asked by Richard Quashiga to replace him on set which was the beginning of several talk shows he engaged in that exposed him to politics at the time. He also mentioned that the said talk shows and his exposure led him to lose a lot of private contracts he was working on at the time since he was practicing IT.
