Dancehall act, Shatta Wale has disclosed that he’s a pacesetter so far as Musicians hosting free shows and street concerts is concerned.
According to Shatta Wale, he’s among the very first people to start doing free shows in Nima, Tawala among others and so other musicians doing their free shows now, got the motivation from him.
He told KOD on Starr FM that;
“I’m the One Who Started Doing Free Street and Community Shows; Among my colleagues i started with all this. I was doing free community and street shows in Nima, Korle Gonno, among other areas, and so I’m Glad Sarkodie and the Likes Are Learning From Me and now also doing their own shows in their Communities”
Sarkodie did his This is Tema Festival over the weekend. When asked why he didn’t attend, Shatta Wale said,
“I’m always ready to support him but Sarkodie didn’t invite me personally. I can’t just go to a concert which i’m not officially invited.” “I’m always ready to do a business with Sarkodie anyday, For me, i’m cool with him.”
