“I must admit he did a very good job for the country” -Ex- Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic heaps praises on Kwasi Appiah

Former Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has, headed praises on coach Kwasi Appiah for his impressive job during his spell with the Black Stars team as head coach.

Goran Stevanovic coached the Black Stars between 2010 to 2012, and was in charge of the team at the Nations Cup in 2012.

Reminiscing his time with the Black Stars, the Serbian tactician, said it was a great honour for his to have coached the four-time African champions.

“I will not hesitate even a second to say “Yes” when given opportunity again to coach the Black stars because I feel I have unfinished business with the team, there is something I started that I couldn’t finished and will be very happy to coach the Black stars again in future,” he told Ashh FM.

He however, hailed coach Kwasi Appiah, who was then his deputy coach for the good job he did for the country.

”Coach Kwasi Appiah who was my assistant those days also did a very good job for me and I wasn’t surprise seeing him as the Head coach for the Black stars and I must admit he did a very good job for the country,” said.

Goran Stevanovic, currently manages Chinese League Two club Qingdao Jonoon.
