Popular Ghanaian comedian and actor, Akwesi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto has explained the reason behind his decision to stay off social.

In an interview on Kantanka TV, Akrobeto also opined that the white man’s language and using social media was equal to slavery.

I am not on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or social media because it has been created as a form of slavery. The whites are using it to control us because they expect us to speak English language and use it to communcate, which makes them and their language popular – he said.

Akrobeto went on to advise his listeners and viewers to desist from sharing their personal lives on social media since it is not a healthy habit.
