Kwame Baffoe Abronye, Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated that the Ghanaian government has spent a total of $400,000 on the Speaker of Parliament’s hernia treatment.
Chairman Abronye went deeper into what has accounted for Hon. Alban Bagbin’s repeated journeys to Dubai for medical attention on the Nsempa Fie show last Saturday, making this surprising disclosure.
Chairman Abronye claims that the Speaker of Parliament has visited his doctor four times and that each trip cost the Akufo-Addo-led government $100,000, excluding the perdiem paid to him and his entourage.
He challenged Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, to comment about Alban Bagbin’s extravagant travels if he had integrity.
