Ghana Soon To Be Like Dubai – Dr. Bawumia Assures

With just two months to the Dec 7 polls, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are unveiling avalanches of promises to sweep Ghanaian electorates off their feet. As part of the usual campaign moments, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumiahas been speaking a lot to the Ghanaian voter.

The Vice President has said a lot about plans to develop the nation in almost all his TV/radio interviews. His latest is a link he sought to draw between Ghana and Dubai in terms of future development.

In one of his usual political talks, he said many countries in Africa would soon visit Ghana to buy affordable vehicles, which would boost the Ghanaian economy. According to him, the government will not legalise the operation of commercial motorbike (also known as Okada) as the NDC are promising to do when given the mandate.

He made this known when he paid a courtesy call on the Regent of Ashiaman, Nii Annan Ajor at his palace.

Per his narration, VW and BlackIvy signed an MoU to embark on the production of affordable homes and affordable cars for the Ghanaian people.

Dr. Bawumia speaking on the development said commercial drivers could use their old vehicles as mortgage to secure new cars.
