Ghana in a mess because, we have a bunch of idiots as leaders – Nyankopah

Founder of Peace Watch Ghana Ms. Diana Nyankopah Daniels, says Ghana is currently struggling because we have a bunch of idiots as leaders.

An outraged Nyankopah Daniels said she sees no reason why the country is retrogressing despite the resources we have in the country.

Commenting on a series of issues including the decision by authorities to burn excavators seized from illegal miners, she said it makes no sense to burn the excavators.

In her view, these excavators could be confiscated and handed over to the state and be used to dredge our water bodies which are currently in a deplorable state.

Speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, she noted that it was about time Ghanaians speak truth to power and call a spade a spade.

She said we are living in a country as if we have no leaders with wisdom.

The outspoken social commentator said the President failed the galamsey despite the assurances he gave in his first term.

She wants the government to account for the missing excavators in its first term.

She alleged the galamsey we today, is being championed by the party faithful.

”When you talk, they ask you not to talk, but we are behaving as if- excuse me to say-we are a bunch of idiots. Filth has engulfed our water bodies, and yet when you seize excavators, you burn them? Does it make sense to burn them?

”I don’t blame them. I blame the voters who keep voting for these clueless leaders who only come and mess up the country,” she said.

She stressed if our leaders are not idiots, we will not have a housing project abandoned when people need houses to stay in.

She added we cannot keep doing these things to ourselves and expect tp progress.
