GES Directs SHS Schools To Observe Easter Break, Vacation For SHS 1 Students Continues Till June 2023

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a directive for all SHS and technical schools to observe a break from April 6 to celebrate Easter.

Additionally, the GES has informed the management of second-cycle institutions operating under the Transitional Calendar that SHS One (I) students will remain on vacation until their scheduled resumption in June 2023.

To ensure a seamless academic year, the GES has tasked the Regional Directors with ensuring that the Heads of Second Cycle Schools in their respective regions comply with the directive.

EASTER BREAK FOR SECOND CYCLE SCHOOLS

Management wishes to remind Heads of all Senior High Schools/Senior High Technical Schools that student should break on Thursday April 6, 2023 for the Easter Holidays

Management also wish to inform Heads of Second Cycle Schools running the Transitional Calendar that

SHS One (1) students are to continue with their vacation until their scheduled re-opening in June, 2023. Regional Directors are by this letter directed to ensure that Heads of Second Cycle Schools in their respective regions take note and comply accordingly to facilitate a smooth running of the academic year.
