#FixTheCountry Campaigners Begins Online Demonstrations With #NameAndShame As Court Restrict Their Protest March

Conveners of the FixTheCountry Campaign have resorted to online demonstrations after Ghana Police secured a court order to restrict their protest.

A High court restricted the campaigners from holding any protest in the country until the laws on public gathering have been lifted in the midst of Covid-19.

The order was a request by the campaigners to hold a peaceful protest to share their grievances with the government and also demands accountability and good governance.

However, after the court restricted their protest until ban on public gathering is lifted, they have resorted to their normal way of online campaign.

They demonstration which is supposed to be held on 9th May has begun on social media where netizens are made to tag their various MPs and the kind of development ongoing in their communities.
