ELECTION 2020: Let’s Maintain Ghana’s Peace And Stability – Dr. Bawumia

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has underscored the need for maintenance of the country’s peace prior, during and after the 2020 polls collectively as a nation.

Speaking at the annual Maulid of the Concerned Moslem Youth Association (CMYA) of Mamprugu at Walewale in the West Mamprusi Municipality of the North East Region, the Vice President said

“It is important that in this election year we do all we can to maintain the peace and stability of the nation. In addition, religious tolerance has become something Ghana is known for and we should do more to promote this”, he stressed.

The 8th Annual Muslims/Islamic Gathering under the theme Harnessing the Socio-political Development Potentials in Modern Ghana: The Role of The Muslim Ummah” was preceded by a three- day intensive Medical outreach program throughout the North East Region.
