ECG’s 22-day’s ‘Dumsor’ League Timetable starts in 5 hours Time; Kick Off 6pm

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), will today Monday, June 28, 2021, begin its announced 22-day power interruption in parts of Accra.

This is to facilitate the work of contractors as part of projects to improve power supply reliability and system voltages.

“In this regard, load to the Trasacco Bulk Supply Point (BSP) will be managed to enable the construction of towers at the Volta, Accra East, and Achimota substations and to complete the stringing and commissioning of a new double-circuit 161 kV Volta-Achimota transmission line,” a statement by the state power distributor said.

The power interruption scheduled for peak load hours between the hours of 6.00pm and 12midnight will see an upgrade in the Volta-Achimota-Mallam transmission lines.

The new Dumsor schedule is expected to end on July 19, 2021.
