Dr. Letsa is the most stingy man in the whole Volta Region – NPP members kick against Regional Minister-designate

Hundreds of Pro-NPP protesters Volta NPP Grassroots For Justice who took to the street of the Volta Regional capital Ho today have said Volta Regional Minister designate, Dr. Archibald Letsa is the most stingy man in the whole Volta Region.

According to the protesters, one of the reasons why they don’t like Dr. Letsa is because he has not helped anybody since he was made Regional Minister in Akufo-Addo’s first term of office. “He is very very stingy”, they complained.

Holding banners and placards with “Reject Letsa”, “Volta Rejects Dr. Letsa as Regional Minister”, the group says Akufo-Addo risks losing more if he re-nominates the “stingy” incompentent Dr. Letsa as Regional Minister.

Despite a Police warning, the group staged the demonstration today, Monday, 25th January, 2021 to show open disapproval and objection to the re-nomination of Dr. Letsa.

According to the group, the Volta NPP Grassroots For Justice, Dr. Letsa’s reappointment would be a setback to achieving President Akufo-Addo’s vision of winning the hearts of people of the Volta Region- a region that remains the stronghold of the opposition National Democratic Congress.

The group also stated that, Dr. Letsa failed to deliver to expectation, as he did not serve in the interest of the party during his first administration, while adding that, the party’s target of winning five parliamentary seats in the region was not achieved due to his refusal to play his mandated roles and support activities of the party.
