Don’t impose projects on your constituents, consult them to see their needs – Assin South MP

The Menber of Parliament for Assin South Constituency, Honorable John Ntim Fordjour has advised his fellow MPs and MMDCEs in Ghana not to impose Developmental Projects on the people but rather seek for their concern as to whether the project being allocated to the community will benefit them.

He made this statements during the Commissioning of a new Market built for the people Of Assin Nyamebebu in the Assin South District, Central Region of Ghana.

According to him, many projects were given to some communities in the the NPP’s first term in office as government and went wasteful. This was because the community were not engaged in the process before the project was put up. They might need a different thing which will be more beneficial to the people than what they got.

And that accounted to the New Patriotic Party’s lost in some parliamentary seats in the 2020 elections.

He added that, he will not disappointed the people of Assin South during his second term as Member of Parliament and will make sure all projects started in his first term will be completed.

Some Market women who had the opportunity to speak to Oman FM & NAP RADIO Reporter Nana Yaw Entsie (Prof Ike) praised the Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Robert Kutin Junior and the MP, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour for honoring their promise.
