Sometimes to be deaf doesn’t mean one shouldn’t have the privilege of enjoying porn to its fullest. A deaf man has sued pono website, Pornhub who he accused of violating a federal law in their videos.
The man known as Yaroslav Suris accused the porn company of denying the deaf and hearing-impaired access to its videos that others can easily enjoy, alleged that it was a violation of his and others’ rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The deaf man disclosed that he pays for Pornhub’s premium subscription but couldn’t understand the audio portion of videos on the site. He further revealed that he was completely lost in the dialogue of several videos he attempted to enjoy.
He also listed a few titles to prove his point of the videos coming without closed captioning.
TMZ reported that asides suing to get Pornhub to be inclusive and to add closed captioning, he also wants damages.
Pornhub VP Corey Price who reacted to the lawsuit, said;
“We understand that Yaroslav Suris is suing Pornhub for claiming we’ve denied the deaf and hearing impaired access to our videos.
“While we do not generally comment on active lawsuits, we’d like to take this opportunity to point out that we do have a closed captions category.”
