A supposed “dead” man was resurrected moments before his burial. An incident that sent shivers down mourners’ spines as they fled for their lives.
The strange incident occurred earlier this week as mourners gathered around the corpse to transport him to his funeral in the city of Hermel in the northern Lebanese governorate of Baalbek-Hermel.
A woman cries and touches the “corpse” in a video shared on social media, as a grieving crowd gathers around the open coffin.
The mourners appear to notice the body moving at one point, and some begin performing chest compressions on him.
An ambulance was then dispatched, and the body was transported to a medical facility for examination.
Doctors at the hospital declared that the man was still alive, but they did not explain how or why he had been incorrectly registered as deceased.
