The Queen mother of Anyinase traditional council in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region Nana Akua Aboagyewaah Dominah II has held a door to door Sensitization program in her traditional area aiming towards the Dissemination of the information which borders with the Novel Coronavirus, it’s Mode of transmission, Symptoms and how the people can abstain from it’s infections.
Speaking with The media, Nana Akua Aboagyewaah Dominah II said, The Education about the deadly virus is not intensified in the remote areas though, People in the Rural areas have heard of this Coronavirus but it’s Mode of transmission, Symptoms and How the people can prevent it has not gone down well to those areas so as a queen Mother who concerns about the health of her people, she needs to take the mantle and Educate the people.
Nana Akua Aboagyewaah therefore advised the people especially the you in the Aforementioned area to observe the Social distance order with rapt attention so that, The National fight with Covid- 19 can be realized.
Queen mother finally made appeal to the FIRST LADY REBECCA FOUNDATION, Government and Philanthropists to come to their aid.
According to Nana, The whole Anyinase Community has only Two(2) Bole holes which at the, makes it so difficult for the People to have access to water due to insufficient supply and as a result of this Water deficiency, “WASH YOUR HAND CAMPAIGN ” by the Ghana health service and The Government can’t be promoted in the area.
