Breaking: Pastor dies by Hanging himself At Ofankor

Report reaching us suggest that a local resident pastor popularly known as Pastor Peter has sadly died by hanging himself this afternoon at Ofankor Hills at the Greater Accra region.

According to reports, he has a prayer camp and has been praying for the people in Ofankor for quite sometime now. Some residents who were close to scene said he was new to the area. He hadn’t stayed there for a long time. Pastor peter doesn’t have a church but however, he organises daily prayers on the park with many residents.

 

According to many residents, he even offers to pray for the sick and conduct numeral deliverance services without taking money or offering. They testified that he is indeed a very good man of God.

He is a well known pastor because he is a taxi driver as well.

According to indigenes, he doesn’t have slot of money. He lives in someone else’s house in a single room. There are no reports yet as to whether he is married or have children.

He preaches and controls a prayer camp in the evenings on daily basis after he closes from his taxi business.

This afternoon, he was found dead at his residence. Describing the incident, he had around his neck a sponge with his bible beside him. It is alleged that he took his own life by banging himself with his sponge while standing on one of his plastic chairs he used to host his church members with.

 

The case is with the police. Further investigations are on going. The motive behind the suicide Is not known, neither is the cause of death actually known. In spite of the fact that he was witnessed on liking himself through hanging, the final autopsy report will indicate the official cause of death.
